Scientific Program
The Halchem XII scientific program will cover all aspects of halogen chemistry, from fundamental bonding theory to industrial applications.

HALCHEM XII continues the proud tradition of the symposia series, which originated in 2002 in Sardinia, Italy, under the invitation of Professor Francesco Devillanova. What began as a gathering of a small group of halogen chemistry enthusiasts has since travelled the world—from Southern Europe (Italy, Greece, Spain) to India, Poland, and Japan.
Traditionally, HALCHEM meetings are organized for a smaller circle of participants. This creates a unique, intimate atmosphere that allows for efficient interaction and fosters the foundation of future collaborations.
Following this successful philosophy, we ensure that every research group has adequate time for oral and poster presentations. We are delighted to continue this legacy and are proud to host this small but exclusive community here in Bremen.
